Digital Trends

The digital space is constantly changing—revolutionizing the way we get information, engage with brands and make purchases. In 2008, Facebook was still a young person’s social network. We talked about the volume of tweets per quarter and smartphone usage by the month. Now, Facebook has over 600 million users. We count tweets per second and mobile is measured in daily usage, not monthly. We think of the web in layers and with each major web evolution comes new chief consumer behaviors. Our RI:Lab continues to study these emerging consumer behaviors through a wide variety of inputs as they curate the trends that impact the digital landscape, mapping their macro, consumer, cultural and technology drivers and influencers.
