Dog owners have dog parks where they can talk dog. But a cat park for cat owners? Unheard of. So we created a Facebook community that is as warm and approachable as the four-legged friends they love. It quickly became the cat’s meow, with over 200,000 fans signing up in the first three months. Engagement has been staggering, with thousands of “Likes” and comments every day. Fans are eager to show off their beloved felines, connecting and sharing thousands of stories, photos and videos.
We continued this cat-loving community with a website redesign. A stories page let’s brand fans get personal and share their favorite cat moments and pictures. A team of experts provide advice and engagement. A social widget gives users on-demand access to the latest videos, photos and social media posts. A Catipedia provides useful tips and articles. And the ability to share or comment is on every article, story and video. We opened up the brand and created a place where it’s cool to be a cat lady.
