Head & Shoulders is tapping into the power of female friendships and inspiring women to be a better friend. We’ve teamed up with the hair care brand and launched The Good Girlfriend campaign, encouraging fans to keep each other in check, especially when it comes to head-scratching behavior. This interactive and O.P.E.N. campaign is allowing brand devotees to rewrite the girlfriend rule book. Literally.
Spokeswoman Alyson Hannigan is asking Head & Shoulders’ Facebook fans to get personal and submit their rules on being a good girlfriend. 100 rules will be selected for a girlfriend code of conduct e-book, and winners will be eligible for a chance to win a trip to the book launch party. Fans can also immerse themselves in an engaging girlfriend game that reveals who their true best friends really are.
The campaign has seen impressive results with over 5,500 girlfriend rule submissions, over 5,000 games played and fans increasing 7-fold in less than one month. So what’s your best girlfriend rule? Become part of the conversation for a chance to see your name and advice in print.
