After 13 years and thousands of projects, HP challenged us to connect with the tech-savvy college student. We created the PC MatchLab, a decision-making tool that solves the equation: College major + Portability + Usage = the HP for you. PC MatchLab continues to be a success, exceeding revenue targets each month. To drive engagement, we geeked out on another student project, HP Campus Karma. The points-based game culminated in a $5,000 scholarship and a brand new HP laptop for a friend. Students competed for points by Liking a page, creating a personal profile and inviting friends to join. Fans grew 26-fold in just 3 months, with fan engagement up 118% and page views up 33%.
