To build buzz for the product’s launch and create a stronger hair care community, Resource executed an interactive Facebook experience for a free product giveaway of 100,000 boxes in four days. On the first day of the campaign, Clairol had 27,000 fans. With the help of a strong imedia campaign and outside blogs and influencers, the number of fans went through the roof, increasing almost 7-fold in 24 hours. By the time the last box was scooped up, the Clairol fan base had grown 944% to nearly 255,000. Resource has created an engaging consumer experience that will keep Clairol fans returning to the Facebook page for more.
