Nancy Kramer Receives Governor's Award for Women's Excellence in Enterprise |
Resource Interactive Founder and CEO Recognized as Community Leader
COLUMBUS, OH - September 27, 2006 - Nancy Kramer, Resource Interactive Founder and CEO, was recognized for outstanding achievement with the Governor’s Award for Women’s Excellence in Enterprise. In a ceremony held as the Ohio Statehouse, Kramer was commended for her community leadership and success as a female business owner.
Kramer founded Resource Interactive, an AdWeek Top Twenty interactive marketing agency, in 1981. Over the span of 25 years, she has built the organization into a $16M business, with clients ranging from technology giants like Apple and Hewlett-Packard, to major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Victoria’s Secret, Crutchfield and Reebok.
“It’s especially meaningful to receive this award as we celebrate our 25th year of business,” remarks Kramer. “Women have made countless contributions to the business community, and each of them should be commended as entrepreneurs. I applaud the Governor and the Ohio Department of Development in their commitment to recognizing women in enterprise—I’m quite proud to be a voice in Ohio business.”
About the Governor’s Award
The Women's Excellence in Enterprise award celebrates a select group of women-owned businesses that have shown outstanding financial and operational strength. The Ohio Department of Development’s Small Business Development Center selected the award winners based on criteria including businesses that are majority female-owned, with sales greater than $1.5M in annual revenue, and are well-established, growing and profitable.
