Resource and Sparkspace Team Up To Deliver Ten Demandments Workshops

Popularity of book's message drives creation of hands-on series

Columbus, OH May 26, 2004 - Resource Interactive and Sparkspace today announced the creation of a new workshop series titled Living The Ten Demandments. The new program, based on the popular business book, The Ten Demandments, co-authored by Kelly Mooney, President and Chief Experience Officer of Resource Interactive, Living The Ten Demandments offers hands-on training for companies that want become more customer-centric and improve customer loyalty and retention.

Since the book's publication in 2002, Mooney has been conducting training programs for companies looking to infuse their organizations with this customer-centric thinking. Due to increased demand for these "next step programs," Mooney and her partner at Resource Interactive, CEO & Founder Nancy Kramer, decided to roll out a more formal and comprehensive program offering based on the principles in the book.

Mooney and Kramer approached Mark Henson of Sparkspace, Columbus' most creative meeting and team development center, to co-develop and facilitate the programs. Since 1999, Sparkspace has provided Columbus with high-impact training programs ranging from team visioning to brainstorming to customer service.

"Mark was the obvious strategic partner for this project," said Kramer. "Not only does he have a terrific track record in quality program development and delivery, but he also incorporates the principles in the book into his own business. It's a great fit."

Henson agrees. "I jumped at this opportunity," he said. "I am incredibly passionate about the importance of providing experiences that go beyond customer expectations and this is a great way for me to share this passion with organizations nationwide, using a proven platform like The Ten Demandments," he added.

Living The Ten Demandments offers engaging activities, real-world examples and self evaluations to assist companies in determining which demandments are most important to their customers and then helps create action plans for making lasting change. Offered to companies and associations nationwide, the programs are scalable depending on objectives, time frame, and what role the participants play in the organization.

The book, translated into 10 languages, has earned praise across industries and is available at amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com.

Living The Ten Demandments will be offered to the public in Columbus on Thursday June 24th, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. at Sparkspace in the Arena District.
