Resource Interactive Appoints Nita Rollins Executive Director of Marketing |
COLUMBUS, OH September 08, 2004 Resource Interactive, a leading interactive marketing and technology firm, has appointed Dr. Nita Rollins to the position of Executive Director of Marketing, effective immediately. Reporting to founder and CEO Nancy Kramer, Rollins will work with the leadership team on the brand persona and positioning of the firm, and develop thought leadership-based marketing and media relations initiatives that support Resource's strategy and growth objectives.
Before joining Resource Interactive, Nita served for four years as Vice President of Marketing Intelligence and Media Relations for Fitch, a global brand design firm with North American headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. There, she directed integrated communications and intellectual property development for the Columbus, Phoenix, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle offices. Nita has a Ph.D. in Critical Studies from UCLA's Department of Theater, Film and Television Department.
Commenting on Nita's appointment, Kramer said, "Nita is a welcome addition to the leadership of our company because of her strong record of leveraging a company's intellectual and brand assets in order to create opportunities for market preeminence and support long-term strategic business goals."
Resource is unique among interactive agencies in its commitment to proprietary research and strategic intelligence-building in anticipation of its clients' needs. With President Kelly Mooney's book, The Ten Demandments, and eight years of the well-publicized "Ecommerce Watch" and "Lessons from the Field," Resource's growth rate, ranked sixteenth out of the top fifty interactive agencies by IQ/Adweek, is attributable as much to its unique points of view about marketing and shopping in the digital age as to the firm's highly regarded client service.
Kramer continued: "Nita is a great fit for our organization and will play a key role in communicating our creative, strategic, and technological strengths to an ever-widening audience of international brands."
"Resource Interactive is appropriately named because their culture of resourcefulness, of doing whatever it takes to exceed a client's expectations is, in my experience, unmatched," said Rollins. "Their global and national brand roster is on par with those of much larger interactive agencies, proof positive that their customer-centric approach, their ability to deploy technology for the latest in performance-based marketing, and their talent at translating a brand into aesthetics unique to digital media make for a sure path to continued success. I am thrilled to be able to play a role in further developing Resource Interactive's competitiveness and influence."
