Resource Interactive Honored With 7 Addy Awards From AdFed of Columbus |
COLUMBUS, OH February 14, 2005 Resource Interactive, an interactive agency ranked among the nation's top fifty, was recognized with seven Advertising Federation of Columbus (Adfed) ADDY Awards, including one "Judges' Choice" and one "Citation of Excellence." The annual ADDY Awards, hosted by Adfed, honor outstanding achievements in both creativity and excellence in advertising, and distinguish the best and brightest work of central Ohio. Winners in the local competition often go on to win District and National ADDYs.
There were 458 entries but only 32 awards granted this year at the discretion of the judges. Resource Interactive received nearly every award in the "Interactive Media" category, taking home all trophies in both the "Web Sites" and "Mini Sites" categories.
Chief among Resource's wins was the 2003 Limited Brands Annual Report, honored with a "Judges' Choice" award for "Interactive Media, Web Sites." Only five Judges' Choices were singled out. Said advertising veteran and judge Julie Lang of the Limited Brands' online annual report, "A joy to use. I wish I did it. I wish it were in my portfolio."
Resource Interactive's Citation of Excellence was awarded to the Express 2004 web site Holiday campaign. The remaining ADDYs went to: Restoration Hardware's "Big Ideas for Fall" web site campaign, the Reebok LTD mini-site, Bath & Body Works' "Les Couvent Des Minimes" mini-site, and Longaberger's "Sweetheart Basket" mini-site.
