In the fourth quarter of 2010, smartphones outsold PCs for the first time. By the end of 2011, an estimated 50% of Americans will own a smartphone. Androids, BlackBerries and iPhones aren’t the only mobile devices that have become an integral part of our daily existence. According to Forrester Research, 24 million tablets are projected to be sold in the United States this year, up from 10.3 million in 2010. Just as the connection between personal computers and the Internet changed the way we work and live, so too will evolving mobile technology.
